Despite his love for Didier Drogba and Frank Lampard, Sancho is on course to join Manchester United and not Chelsea in the current transfer window. Various reports claimed that the Red Devils are closing in on the £75m transfer for the Dortmund player after one year of pursuit.

England international Sancho has grown to be a key player for Borussia Dortmund since joining them from Premier League champions Manchester City in 2017. He has scored 50 goals plus 64 assists in 137 games for the German Bundesliga club in all competitions since moving from the Premier League. Sancho moved to Dortmund as a teenager. During his time in Germany, he has won both the German Super Cup and the German Cup.The Englishman was the star of the show as Dortmund beat RB Leipzig in the German Cup final last season to win the competition.

Manchester United have been on the Jadon Sancho transfer for over a year after trying to sign him last summer but they were unable to do so due to the high fee demanded by his club. Borussia Dortmund wanted £108m for the England international. The Red Devils have been able to play the waiting game spanning one year and the patience has paid off following the lowered asking price for their transfer target on the part of Dortmund.

The asking price for Sancho has been significantly reducedby Dortmund this summer. Recent profits in the British media stated that the Red Devils are closing in on the signing of Jadon Sancho for £75m which is £33m less for what they could have paid for him last year.
