DROGBA: HAVERTZ AND WERNER WILL BE EXCITING NEXT SEASON

Chelsea legend Didier Drogba has insisted that the Blues’ attackers Timo Werner and Kai Havertz will be better next season and will prove that they are worthy of being ideal Chelsea players as well. While Werner was signed from RB Leipzig, Havertz was signed from Bayer Leverkusen and with both of them being brought in by former Chelsea manager Frank Lampard, they joined the club at a time when they were still am evolving side. After failing to immediately click into the Chelsea side, they were immediately tagged as flops and more was asked from them eventually.

DROGBA PRAISES GIROUD FOR ATLETICO STRIKE

Chelsea legend Didier Drogba was delighted with the performance of Blues attacker Olivier Giroud in the Champions League last 16 first leg clash away to Atletico Madrid. Olivier Giroud made a telling contribution for Chelsea and that led to the only goal of the game just past the midway point of the second half. Olivier Giroud scored a wonder strike for the only goal of the game to hand Chelsea the advantage in their last 16 tie with Atletico Madrid, who are the Spanish La Liga leaders. OSCAR REMINISCES ABOUT DROGBA AT CHELSEA

Brazilian attacker Oscar had nice things to say about Ex-Chelsea teammate Didier Drogba during his recent interview with one of theleading newspapers in England. Oscar and Didier Drogba shared the Chelsea dressing room for justone season and it was enough for Didier Drogba to leave a lasting impression on Oscar as he pointed out during his exclusive interview with The Guardian. Oscar, 29, plays his club football for Shanghai SIPG in the Chinese Super League and has revealed that he wants to return to Chelsea before his career ends just like what Didier Drogba did in 2014.

Didier Drogba had left Chelsea in the summer of 2012 after he emerged the hero of the Blues’ one and only Champions League triumph till date. Didier Drogba scored a bullet header in the final few minutes to take the 2012 Champions League final against host team Bayern Munich into extra time via a 1-1 scoreline at the end of 90 minutes. Celtic midfielder IsmailaSoro has revealed that Chelsea legend Didier Drogbawas his childhood hero while he was growing up. The Celtic player said that Didier Drogba was his hero as a child while he was fielding questions from Twitter. The Ivorian player said that he adored his compatriot Didier Drogba because the former Chelsea striker was very strong and also scored a lot of goals during his playing career.
